Module Museum:

A zoommable floor plan of the museum will help you with your orientation. A blue point always marks the last view of POI (Point of Interest). So you can easily see where you are in the exhibition.

The POIs are drawn on the plan and can be selected directly. The assigned content then appears.

Landscape module:

The zoomable, detailed map material opens up the content in the landscape. The map shows the city of Marktredwitz and disappeared villages in the nearby border area. The content is available offline, an internet connection is not necessary. The individual POIS (Points of Interest) can also be accessed manually via the card. Video, audio and text/image information are available. The integrated GPS function with Alert (= call tone) facilitates navigation on site.

Module overview:

All contents of the museum and landscape module are shown in a list view and can also be called up here. The module also offers the opportunity to play all content directly.

Module Information:

Switch on the GPS function of the landscape module here depending on the use. Here you will also find the necessary information to drive your vehicle directly to the missing villages.

Module Social Media / Photo:

Create photos directly in the application. These are shared with other users of the app. In addition, you can easily share the created images with common social networks. To do this, the networks (such as Facebook) must be activated in the operating system.

The application was developed by Boundary Productions EK and P.Medien GmbH. The content of the content lies with the Egerland-Museum (Volker Dittmar, MA). The Egerland-Museum , the Bavarian Sparkasse Foundation and the state office for the non-state museums in Bavaria provide this application to the general public free of charge.
